2026年6月28日の学びでは、新約聖書が旧約聖書から続く神の壮大な救済計画のクライマックスであり、その中心にナザレのイエスがいることを確認しました。マタイの福音書を通して、イエスが旧約の預言を成就する「インマヌエル（私たちと共におられる神）」であり、モーセを超える新しい権威ある教師として「逆転の王国」を築かれることを学びます。私たちはこの大きな物語の一部として、日々の生活で御言葉を実践し、「新しい人間」として生きることが求められています。

主要なメッセージ

1. 新約聖書は27巻から成り、旧約聖書39巻と合わせて一つの壮大な物語を形成します。その中心にナザレのイエスを据え、人類の罪からの救済というテーマがイエスという「新しい人間」の到来によってクライマックスを迎えることを描いています。
2. マタイの福音書は、イエスがダビデ直系のアブラハムの子孫であり、旧約聖書の預言の成就であることを系図を通して示します。聖霊による誕生は、彼が「インマヌエル（私たちと共におられる神）」であり、モーセを超える権威を持つことを表しています。
3. マタイはイエスの教えをモーセ五書（トーラー）と重ね合わせ、5つのセクションで見事に構成しています。これにより、イエスがトーラーを完成させる権威ある新しい教師であり、彼の教えが神の国の到来を宣言するものであることを強調しています。

6. 旧約の物語は、人間が神に背き「バビロン」を築き追放されるパターンを繰り返しますが、神は救いのための「新しい人間」を約束します。イエスはこの「新しい人間」であり、十字架での死と復活によって悪に打ち勝ち、神の愛が死よりも強いことを示しました。
7. 復活したイエスは「新しい人間のひな形」となりました。使徒たちは聖霊に満たされ、人々が自己中心という「バビロン捕囚」の状態から、過ぎ越しの羊であるイエスによって解放され、「約束の地」へ導かれるという福音を宣べ伝えました。
8. 新約聖書の最後「黙示録」は、屠られた子羊なるイエスが王として民をバビロンから連れ出し、天と地が一つとなる「新しいエルサレム」の到来を描きます。そこは、新しい人間が神と共に治める、私たちの真の故郷です。
9. 約6000年前から続く壮大な救済計画の中に私たちが生きていることを認識し、御言葉を一箇所ずつ深く味わいながらも、常に聖書全体の大きな物語とのつながりを意識して読む姿勢が重要です。部分と全体を往復することで理解が深まります。
10. 2026年7月からの夏の歩みを、聖霊の助けと神の恵みの中で保たれるよう祈ります。賛美によって心を整え、学びの動機が「まことの羊飼い」である主から与えられることを大切にし、日々の生活と学びが一体となる信仰実践へと進みましょう。

In the study on June 28, 2026, we confirmed that the New Testament is the climax of God's grand plan of salvation that continues from the Old Testament, with Jesus of Nazareth at its center. Through the Gospel of Matthew, we learn that Jesus is "Immanuel" (God with us), who fulfills Old Testament prophecies, and that He establishes a "Kingdom of Reversal" as a new, authoritative teacher who surpasses Moses. We are called to live as "new humans," practicing the Word in our daily lives as part of this grand narrative.

Key Messages

1. The New Testament consists of 27 books, which, together with the 39 books of the Old Testament, form one grand narrative. It places Jesus of Nazareth at the center, depicting the theme of salvation from human sin reaching its climax through the arrival of Jesus as the "new human."
2. The Gospel of Matthew demonstrates through the genealogy that Jesus is the descendant of Abraham in the direct line of David and the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy. His birth by the Holy Spirit signifies that He is "Immanuel" (God with us) and possesses authority surpassing that of Moses.
3. Matthew masterfully structures the teachings of Jesus into five sections, paralleling the Pentateuch (Torah). This emphasizes that Jesus is the authoritative new teacher who fulfills the Torah and that His teachings proclaim the arrival of the Kingdom of God.

5. Reactions to Jesus were divided; while religious leaders like the scribes rejected Him, insignificant and nameless people were transformed by faith. Through parables, Jesus taught that the expansion of the Kingdom of God cannot be stopped by any barrier.
6. The Old Testament narrative repeats the pattern of humans rebelling against God, building "Babylon," and being exiled, but God promises a "new human" for salvation. Jesus is this "new human," and through His death on the cross and resurrection, He defeated evil, showing that God's love is stronger than death.
7. The resurrected Jesus became the "prototype of the new human." Filled with the Holy Spirit, the apostles proclaimed the Gospel that people are liberated from the "Babylonian captivity" of self-centeredness by Jesus, the Passover Lamb, and led to the "Promised Land."
8. The final book of the New Testament, Revelation, depicts Jesus, the slain Lamb, being raised as King to lead His people out of slavery and Babylonian captivity, culminating in the arrival of the "New Jerusalem" where heaven and earth become one. It is our true home where the new human reigns with God.
9. It is important to recognize that we are living within a grand plan of salvation that has been ongoing for about 6,000 years. We should read the Bible with an attitude that constantly keeps the connection to the grand narrative of the entire Bible in mind, while deeply savoring the Word one passage at a time. Understanding is deepened by moving back and forth between the parts and the whole.
10. We pray that our walk through the summer starting in July 2026 will be sustained by the help of the Holy Spirit and the grace of God. Let us prepare our hearts through praise, cherish the fact that the motivation for our learning is given by the Lord, our "Good Shepherd," and advance toward a faith practice where daily life and learning become one.
