聖書箇所：創世記10〜11章、ヨハネの福音書1章1節、エペソ人への手紙4章25〜32節

1. 2026年6月27日の地震はマタイの福音書が示す終わりの日のしるしであり、このような時代だからこそ聖書に記された神様の言葉に立ち返ることの重要性が強調されました。
2. 創世記10章には、ノアの子孫から約70の氏族と言語が生まれたと記されており、今日の世界に存在する7000以上の言語は、この最初の70の言語から派生したと聖書的に解釈できます。
3. 創世記11章では、人々が「名をあげて」天に届く塔を建てようとした高ぶりに対し、神様は「彼らの言葉を乱し」全地に散らされました。人間の傲慢を神様は良しとしなかったのです。
4. ヨハネの福音書1章1節「はじめにことばがあった。ことばは神であった」とあるように、「ことば」なるイエス・キリストを理解するために、神様は人間にのみ言葉を話し理解する特別な賜物を与えられました。
5. バベルで乱された多くの言語は、イエス様の再臨の時に再び一つとされます。すべての信者が一つの言葉でイエス様と直接語り合える希望のうちを、私たちは歩んでいます。
6. 私たちは生まれながらに罪人であり、偽りを捨て隣人に真実を語ることが求められています（エペソ4:25）。天地を創造された真の神様を知り、その方に謙遜になることが信仰の基本です。
7. 「怒ることがあっても、罪を犯してはならない。憤ったままで日が暮れるようであってはならない」（エペソ4:26）。怒りを長引かせることは悪魔に機会を与え、人間関係を破壊する危険があります。
8. 私たちの口からは悪い言葉を一切出してはならず、「人の徳を高めるのに役立つような言葉」を語るべきです（エペソ4:29）。怒りによる言動は神の聖霊を悲しませることになります（エペソ4:30）。
9. すべての無慈悲、憤り、怒り、騒ぎ、そしり、一切の悪意を捨て去り（エペソ4:31）、互いに情け深く、あわれみ深い者となることが求められています。これは御霊の実と一致する生き方です。
10. 説教の中心は「神がキリストにあってあなたがたを赦してくださったように、あなたがたも互いに赦し合いなさい」（エペソ4:32）です。神様の一方的な愛と恵みを土台として、私たちも互いに赦し合う共同体を築いていきます。

Sermon Summary: Forgiveness and Restoration in Christ, the "Word"

Scripture: Genesis 10-11, John 1:1, Ephesians 4:25-32

1. The earthquake on June 27, 2026, is a sign of the end times as indicated in the Gospel of Matthew. In such times, it is crucial to return to the Word of God recorded in the Bible.
2. Genesis 10 records that about 70 clans and languages originated from Noah's descendants. Biblically, the 7,000+ languages in the world today can be interpreted as having derived from these original 70.
3. In Genesis 11, people sought to "make a name for themselves" and build a tower reaching the heavens. God did not approve of this arrogance and "confused their language," scattering them across the earth.
4. As John 1:1 states, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." God gave humans the unique gift of speaking and understanding language so that we might understand Jesus Christ, who is the "Word."
5. The many languages confused at Babel will be unified again upon the second coming of Jesus. We walk in the hope that all believers will be able to speak directly with Jesus in one language.
6. We are sinners by nature and are called to put away falsehood and speak truth to our neighbors (Ephesians 4:25). The foundation of faith is knowing the true God who created heaven and earth and being humble before Him.
7. "In your anger do not sin: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry" (Ephesians 4:26). Prolonging anger gives the devil a foothold and risks destroying human relationships.
8. We must not let any unwholesome talk come out of our mouths, but rather speak what is "helpful for building others up" (Ephesians 4:29). Words spoken in anger grieve the Holy Spirit of God (Ephesians 4:30).
9. We are called to get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, brawling, slander, and malice (Ephesians 4:31) and be kind and compassionate to one another. This is a life consistent with the fruit of the Spirit.
10. The core of the sermon is: "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you" (Ephesians 4:32). We build a community that forgives one another, grounded in God's unilateral love and grace.
